A small, focused tool built to answer one question: what's actually using your storage. Currently in beta: the core is stable, but expect some rough edges while it gets real-world testing.
Most disk space tools either cost money for basic features, or bury the useful information under upsells and bundled "optimizers" of dubious value. PurgeCore is built the other way around: it does one job (show you what's using your space, clearly and quickly) and it does that job for free, permanently.
There's no premium tier, no trial period, no feature held back behind a paywall. Development is funded by a couple of clearly labeled affiliate recommendations (see the Partners section), never by limiting what the free version can do.
Every scan happens on your own computer. File names, paths, and contents are never uploaded anywhere, there's no server involved in analyzing a disk. See the full Privacy Policy for the specifics of what can and can't be collected.
PurgeCore is built by Jeremy Jury (jeremstyke), an independent developer focused on free, privacy-first tools.
If PurgeCore saved you some time (or some disk space), you're welcome to offer a coffee. It's entirely optional and never affects what the app itself costs you: nothing.
