PurgeCore v1.9.0: Flush DNS Cache

2026

A small new tool, and a couple of overdue corrections to how the existing ones were documented.

New: Flush DNS cache

A "Flush DNS cache" button in the Performance tab, next to Free up RAM. It clears Windows' cached DNS lookups, which can help with slow or failing page loads caused by a stale or incorrect entry. It doesn't free disk space or memory, it's purely a network fix, and touches nothing else on the system.

Housekeeping: the website and README now mention Uninstall

The Uninstall feature (installed programs, largest first, removed via each program's own official uninstaller) shipped back in v1.8.0, but never made it into the feature list on this site or in the README. Fixed, both now list it properly.
